| There has been previous discussion about using POR to rust proof chassis. I recently came across a material called Tectyl 506G that is used to rust proof the insides of hollow chassis members. I believe it is made by Valvoline. You spray it inside the chassis using airless spray equipment. It is used to protect bus chassis from corrosion from road salt. I have no idea how well it works or what it costs. There is also an undercoating material called Tectyl 127CWG. George Schiro |
