| Today, I was trying to replace the worn bearings in the steering column (upper set) and have had a major battle trying to remove the bearing chase from the column. I can't break it out because the fragments will drop in to the next set of bearings. The chase is rusted in place and I can't add any lubricant because it will dissolve the grease on the lower bearings. Is there a tool designed to remove a bearing chase?
