Today I opened the door, got behind the wheel, turned the key and
got that sick sound of silence.
Yesterday was fine but the demons were focused on me not enjoying a
sunny Bricklin drive today.
There was plenty of battery power but nothing at the fuse terminals. I
traced it to the bulkhead
connector. When I parted the connector I found a gooey tar like
substance covering the inside of
the connector. This has to be where the contact was lost. I will clean
this off and expect no further
problem.
Has this happened to anyone else and where does that tar like
substance come from?
