I'm trying to get more info on the differences between the various
color grommets on the Duraspark modules. I don't know if this
is factual, but I'm assuming it is. I emailed a buddy that's big
into Fords about them. He replied:
You are correct...the engine won't start with the
wrong module installed. The following should help:
The early Duraspark module grommets are black.
The Duraspark I system has a green grommet/connector.
The Duraspark II system has a blue grommet/connector.
He's still looking for more info on them.
