My 2HP Sears 20 gallon unit operates at 220v. I don't think
you'll find a 2HP unit operationg at 110v, and if you do, the
current requirements are likely to be higher than any typical
house wiring for a 110 circuit.

Well, I take that back.... My Harbor Frieght catalog
lists several 2HP units that operate on either 220 or 115.
The current rquirement at 115v is 15 amps.

The number for Harbor Freight is 1-800-423-2567. They do have a
catalog. (Note - Other than as a previous customer, I have absolutely
no relationship or interest with the Harbor Freight company.)
