Since we have gotten onto the subject of paint, I have a question .. but first in typical analytic analytic mode, here is some background. My TR3A is getting a major rebuild and is being taken down to bare metal to make sure I've found all thoses pesky rust spots. I plan to paint it myself. I had chosen acrilic because I cqan make my learner's mistakes and sand them down before adding the next coat. Also, if a rock or door should smite my TR, I could patch the paint easily. Now for the question: I keep hearing bits about new types of paint. Are there any newer better options that will allow me the ability to sand out runs & make easy patches to finished paint jobs????
