Here's some more information on the MGB For Sale in Seattle:

(I talked to Steve, and he says that the owner is even willing to come down
on the $4000 price a bit. Really not a bad deal if you like rubber-bumpered
'Bs! - pwv)

Here are more details on this exceptional car:

1977 MGB Roadster Burgundy Color; 4 speed with electronic overdrive;
restored by British European Motors in August 1990 for a total cost of
$8600.00. Additional work since: Electrical system; new head and
valves; carb rebuild; front suspension work. All receipts maintained,
inclusing photos of restoration process. Total of work done in last
two years is over $11,500 !

Now, the car is available. Asking $4,000 obo. Currently has a crack
in windshield, speedo is inoperable (probably just needs cable); Right
side mirror just fell off and needs very minor repair to the top
(although the top itself is in excellent condition!); dash pad has
cracked.

Body remains in near mint condition, tires and wheels are good, chome
looks good (although this is the model with the Rubber bumpers/nose).

Far too much was invested in this car and divorce forces sale at a
loss...(I am posting for a friend).... this is a great car for someone
looking for a long term, rust free, solid investment car!

call (206) 365-5567. Available for inspection in North Seattle, will
be in the papers this weekend, probably won't last at this price!
