Unobtanium problems aside, there's a discussion on smog pumps going on
in the Mustangs group at the moment. Someone who was investigating why
they failed so much on him noted that his failed pump had ingested large
quantities of carbon from the engine, causing internal blockages and other
nasties. If your pump is functioning erratically, squealing or whatever,
it might be an idea to disconnect the hoses and see what it's breathing...
