Morris & minors

I saw a Morris 1000 woody wagon(1959?) last night at a local graffitti night.
Is this the same company as Morris Minor or an american car?  What's the
difference between Morris and Morris Minor?  The owner wasn't around when I saw
it.  It was in really nice shape, it was towing a '49 Chris Craft childs boat
(wooden hulled with a Chrysler inboard) and they also had an Indian
mini-motorcycle in the back of the wagon.
