My SLIP (Spouse-Like Important Person) is an LBC fan who's interested in getting both of us more involved in meets, etc. I'm the fly in the ointment here; although I can drive a stick shift, I don't want to. What success, if any, did the British have with automatic transmissions? Can you suggest modestly-priced LBCs ($3,000 to $5,000) that can keep this relationship together? Perhaps some four-passenger cars such as the Triumph Stag? Barbara |
