/ If it is shellac, alcohol will dissolve it, and strippers which don't
/ contain alcohol probably won't. There used to be a product sold called
/ CleanWood which would dissolve _anything_. Try some of that if you can

Larry, my direct responce to you got bounced so i'll use
groop. I have redone a lot of dashes TR6, GT6, and a few Jags
have found that the nasty type of stripper takes it right off.
I have never used the 3M stuff.
