too bad you weren't here a little earlier. may 21 is the vancouver all british
field meet at the prestigous vandusen garden.the event is situated at a
horticulture estate where all the entrants park thier vehicles on the grass
amongst all the plants. in this years event they have limited the number of
entrants to 500 due to the large intrest in this particular event. of all the
field meets i have been to the vancouver b.c. meet offers the widest variety of
brit cars i have seen, lots of pre war bentleys,rolls.a mg experimental car
that holds all sorts of speed records, a original one of a kind car as well as
the ac,aston martins ,lotuses, morgans,triumphs,minis, big healeys, nash
metroplitans,ford gt40 factory racer,ect,ect and of course the vintage and open
wheel racers that were used in the old days. all in all this is a event that
should not be missed. there is also the swap meet on the sunday which usually
fetches some incredible deals for the guys that know thier cars.
