Hello everyone-
This is my first submission to the SOL. After reading the last three night's
digest it's easy to see that there are a lot of different interests within
the SOL. I have really enjoyed the air compressor discussion. I'll probably
get one for Christmas this year. I've done without one for long enough. You
guys seem pretty knowledgeable, so I'll ask you a couple of things that I
have on my mind:
(1) There were rumors about the British Car Day in Bowie,MD last year (like
the show was sold, the Renkenbergers were tired of running it and it just
won't be, and the park was sold by the city of Bowie) Does anyone know if it
will happen in 1995 and if so when?
(2) I have a pristine Mallard 1974 TR6 that I have shown in many
participant's choice events all over the mideast, but I would love to try
some concours events. Are there any? I know of the VTR nationals in Rockford
and the Roadster Factory's Summer Party. What do I need to do to be
successful in a Concours event. My car is definitely NOT a trailer queen. I
drive it often.
