Someone mentioned having the solenoid rewound. Most of the time, it's just
the contacts that are burned. Take it to a local auto electric, they may
have some contacts that will fit. Also Dave Bean may have replacement
contacts. I know that had the contacts from the starter in my 65 Morgan
which uses a 65 Ford Cortina 1500 eng.
