It most certainly will! My '77 Morgan Plus 8 uses the SDI Rover engine 
and has about 195hp @ 5300rpm with 225 ft lbs torque @ 2750 rpm and that 
translates to 1-1/2 seconds off the 0-60 time (5.3 secs) from stock. I 
also use BSA annular M/C air filter units with K&N Filterchargers and 
those help too. Anyway, SU's are British and the Strombergs french I 
believe. No Contest!
