If you are interested in what a fairly well tuned 1700cc twin cam can do, on 40DCOEs, have a look at an interesting Hasselgren dyno sheet which someone has put on the web, at: http://aloha.net/~bandx/dyno.txt This particular 1700cc engine was apparently built on a Cortina (tall) block, and it develops 155 hp at 6500 RPM and 138 ft-lb at 5000 RPM.
