I used POR 15's "Chassis Coat Black" when I rebuilt my rear axle and 
suspension.  Had everything real clean before applying w/ a foam 
brush.  It floats out real well leaving no marks on the axle or 
springs.  I think POR is an east coast company.  I bought mine from a 
distributor in Tualatin, Oregon - Tech Center NW.  Their # is 800 729 
1796.
