tips for steering arm?

hi folks,
        I am new to the list (have been lurking for a week or two) have a total 
of
720 miles in the last 4 yrs on my '67 (frame off, some modification, more on
that later). Current question - cursing doesn't seem to help remove steering
arm from steering box (I had it off a couple years ago)- any tips?  (and
thanks Mike, for the good used box).
