    Very good advice. Smith's fastener book can be rather dry reading, but
well worth it.
    BTW, I'm partial to "Lamalloy" (sp?) brand grade 9 for ALL critical
fasteners with tension loads, such as the front upper A-arm mounting bolts
we've been discussing.
