I agree with Michael--identify where the coolant is leaking from, first,
for sure.

If it IS coming from the overflow:  two reasons I can think of (and have
experienced); one easy, and the other NOT.
The easy one is a faulty pressure cap on the coolant recovery tank.  The
not-easy reason is a head gasket allowing cylinder pressures to pass
into the cooling system.  Bad, bad.
