Well, you can count!  
        It's much harder with the rad in the car, but usually you can look at
where the tubes meet the bottom tank.  A bright light helps.  If there
are 3 in a line (front of car to back) it's a 3-row! 
        The easier way- if the core isn't almost as thick as the tank, it's a
2-row.
