Chris,

On the SU Carbs; There are three different thread sizes
possible:

 - 67:  SAE fine pitch threading
67.5 :  "odd" metric pitch - French Metric!
68 - 70: ISO Metric. You'll notice the ISO mark on the carbs,
         screws have a dimple in them.

Since you can "mix and match" the top of the floats, float
assemblies, and carb parts it is hard to know what a "PO"
might have put on the car.
