An excellent idea. That's what I did. A second email account that gets the
digest version of the mailing list. When I get busy with work and other
matters, I unsubscribe from the regular list. The digest runs about 40K in
size, and it's easy to scan for relevant information.

That webpage has a search engine to use on the mailing list. Put in your
keywords, and you get only the emails containing the information you're
looking for. Even Love. Try it. On the first page is an email by Calspeed,
writing about being uncomfortable opening mail and possibly seeing
something that might make someone upset. But there are also emails (mine
among them) mentioning what Mr. K said: "Love cars, love people, love
life...". As you, me, Michael, Gordon and many others have discovered, this
list is not just about the cars.
