Hello everyone,
My hat's off to Tak Kobayashi for creating this
magnificent Roadster! First off,for creating a car
that has gone "mainstream" and having our breed
exposed to the masses of the new kids. Having a
roadster in a mag such as Turbo is creating interest
in our love, The Roadster. People will want one, and
we, the Datsun Roadster owners, are the ones that have
them. I don't Know about you but I kind of like to
gloat a bit. Hardly a day goes by when someone doesn't
say to me, "what kind of car is that it's cool,I'd
really like one of those". I calmly say Yeah, there's
not a lot of these around any more. I have 2.
Lets face it, I think we all love to gloat a bit
knowing were part of a very small exclusive club.
Secondly, I feel that Tak's roadster is an inspiration
to us all, to make our own roadster the best it can
possibly be, whether it be completely stock to purist
standards or a wild custom ride. I know for myself
other people's cars have kept me going in this
sometimes frustrating, expensive activity we are all
involved with.
Last but not least the silver roadster is the SHARPEST
looking car in the whole magazine. Lets show the world
what a REAL SPORTS CAR looks like!!!
