Have 69 2000 with solex carbs. Have a year and a few thousand miles on a
complete rebuild, new electronic ignition, etc.

Recently #3 cylinder began missing at idle and under normal load. It fires
fine when I accelerate. The plug is wet.

Compression, valves clearances, timing, plugs and wires all check out fine.
The idle mixture screw has not been changed -- when it is changed it doesn't
make any difference. Jets are all securely tightened -- have been blown out
with carb cleaner.

Obviously if I keep my foot into it at all times this is not a problem, but a
more responsible solution is probably in order.

Anything else that I should check before tearing the carb apart? And, if I
tear the carb apart is there anything specific I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance for the help.
