Hi List, If you are going to invest the time then spend the extra $2 and buy the best bicycle cable you can find. You can allso replace the cable cover. As I recall when you have the assembly apart you can cut off then carefully drill out (a drill press helps) the old cover then press in the new ones. I have also rebuilt the hand throttle cable. You absolutly need a drill press and silver solder for that. But it only takes 30 mins and beats the $80 bucks for a new one. Dave |
