Hello, My alternator (Delco, passenger side) belt was off of alignment by at least 1". I figured that I could redesign the bracket so the belt runs straight and true to the other pulleys. The P.O. built a triangle shaped bracket using two of the OHC cover bolt holes to secure the alternator in place. Is that a bad idea? I've got the alternator running in line now but need another way to hold tension on the belt. Any ideas? Thanks Steve Harvey |
