Subject: oc muffler shop
Anyone hear of a good muffler shop in Orange county, CA that knows--or can
learn--about roadster exhaust systems? Need someone who will take good care
while waving a welding
torch around.

I'm getting my exhaust system done as well. I'm going this week to a place
in Lawndale (kinda far from OC) that seems to be receptive and willing to be
a bit inventive.
I would recommend Gene's Muffler in Downey. Close friend of old girlfriend
ran the shop for the owner, runs the shop for his own benefit on Saturdays.
(big German immigrant named Frank, really nice guy) From the look of his
custom 70's era Nova (with the all stainless exhaust) and his home garage
(that had a painted floor), I'd say he does quality work and I'd go to him.
The place I'm going is convenient to work and I just need a quickie job
(floor panel behind drivers seat gets so hot that my window washer towels
melt to the floor, I think that's a bad thing).
Roadster sighting:
Saw a roadster getting on the 110 Freeway North at Redondo Beach Blvd,
~6:15-6:30am last Monday morning, 9/11. Anyone on the list?
Heard a little 'meeeep' and recognized the headlights. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE
WHO DRIVES TO WORK IN THE DARK WITH THE TOP DOWN!!
