Hi Daniel,

You won't get much joy in Australia, either.
Keep in mind, there aren't many of these cars left (I think we got about 
1300 roadsters all up - I'll check that, it might be 1300 2000's[ALL SOLEX!! 
- Eat your hearts out 8^) ] ) here.  So predominantly, the guys here try to 
keep them more or less original - except for the odd engine transplant, or 
different carb setups.  A lot have gone to 15 inch wheels, but that's no big 
deal.

Lou Mondello was even disapproving of my intention to change to a bigger 
alternator, so I could run my driving lights without killing the battery.  
(I've got a pair of aircraft landing lights on the front - instant 
daylight!)

But I haven't met many of the guys in the club here, yet, so if I hear of 
anything interesting, I'll let you know!
