Well. I finally broke down and got a 2'' exhaust system today. The guys down
at Morse Mufflers did a phenomenal job and because of their efforts, there's
no clanks bangs or squeaks. Just a deep, low THRUMM! All the stock hangers
were used. A small "Thrush" brand turbo muffler went in the stock location.
A very short Glass Pack replaced the resonator and my trumpet was cut to fit
at the 2'' portion of it's diameter. I am very happy with the quality of the
work done.
Now, I swear I feel a performance gain! Especially in the lower RPM ranges.
This may just be me. I know that whenever I do something that's been a major
issue on my car, I feel like it run's better.
Do you folks think this is possible? Does my car run better or am I crazy or
both?
