After hearing all you folks talk about cold weather, ice and snow, I kind of
feel left out. I don't want you all to think that we, in Southern
California, have no knowledge to share on this subject. So, I will tell you
everything I know about ice,

Ice is frozen water.
Ice is good in cold drinks, but not generally acceptable in beer or milk.
If you don't have enough ice, you must make more or buy some.
You must be sure to have enough ice when company is expected.
When you have enough ice, there is no need to fill the ice trays.
When you have too much ice, it's time to defrost the refrigerator.
Ice can form in nature at high elevations.
When chasing ski-bunnies at the lodge, you take care to avoid this natural
ice, for you may slip and look silly.
