The engine swap thread has been rather intriguing. Lots of good
information! With much of the focus being on the Buick/Rover 215, has
anyone considered the all aluminum Ford 4.6L? The SOHC came in the F-150
(220 hp) and the DOHC came in the Mustang (305 hp) with lots of torque to
boot! Not a drop in and go by any stretch but consider the available
unmodified power. Just a thought.
BTW-found this GREAT website that compares engine weight and size of various
motors. Not all inclusive but fairly complete-even includes footnotes!
