Every distributor I have including a low mileage (30K or so) distributor had notchy and worn Plates from wear by the balls on the plates. I disassembled and lubed one of them but to no effect. Shot. Note, if you decide to take yours apart do it over a pan as those tiny balls will come out and I do mean tiny!!!!!!!! While there also check for free movement of the weights. Mike |
