Just fired up my 68-2000. Rebuilt engine w/ pair of 40DCOE carbs. Any ideas on how to set them up? Currently, they are set up as follows: Choke Size-28, Aux Venturi-4.0, Main Jet-110, Emulsion Tube-F16, Air Corrector Jet-150, Idle Jet 0.45F8, Needle Valve-2.0. I adapted them to a Solex manifold with a sleek machined aluminium adaptor. I live at 7,400 feet in Colorado. Thanks for any info. Jim |
