How hard is AXing on your car?

Hello,

How hard is autocrossing on your car?  I own a 67.5 1600 that I took
to autocross school over the weekend.  I had a blast and want to do
more!  But I'm kinda nervous that it will take it's toll on my car.  I don't
want to turn my Roadster into a race-only car, I want to drive it to and 
from work (as weather permits), and on weekends.

Thoughts???
