Weird stuff!  That's all I can say.  Just weird.

The PO had the distibutor wire and the condensor above the
distributor hooked up backwards.  I could start the car that way
but it always took lots of cranking to start and was hard
running till it warmed up.  Now it's a one key hit and it starts
right up and idles better than ever.  I hope I don't run into
anymore wiring mishaps like that one.

Now, I get to try the non-smog distibutor again.
