Instead of installing the condenser in front of the radiator, take
a que from the air cooled VW of yester-year. They mounted two
condensers, with fans and rock guards,one on each side of the
transaxle. On the roadster I think there should be room just
ahead of the rear axles. There might be room for an evaporator/fan
unit right above that, under the package shelf. It might be a bit
wierd having the cool air coming from behind you, but Caddy and Lincoln
used trunk mounted units in the '50s.
