Steve,
It will fit the hole, but you may have to make modifications to it. If it
is a 66 or early 67, you will have to move the mount for the hood prop rod
(easy stuff), notch for mastercylinder clearance (a lot less easy) and if
your car has the secondary latch (usually '69 and 70) you will need to
modify the latch mount (gotta be careful there or you will be asking Terry
to come open your hood with the rope from his boat anchor!)
If it is a 67.5 hood, you will need to modify the prop rod mount and perhaps
the latch mount (as discussed above.)
