| Mike Wrote - I have examined the fuel pump and the diaphragm appears to be intact, but the fuel pump is leaking fuel from the base (apparently) of the pump. ----------- It may "Appears to be intact", but, if it's leaking from the case, It's not intact. Replace the diaphram. How much are they? $6.00? five minutes work if it's a rebuildable pump, 20 minutes if it's a "Non-rebuildable" The "Non-rebuildable" title means it can't be rebuilt while on the car. Take it off, drive the arm piviot out then replace the diaphram, no biggie. |
