gas tank removal/ cleaning

List,

I know this has been asked before, but the archives are down lately so I
couldn't check previous solutions. What is the best way to remove the
gas tank? I know you have to drain first with full ventilation, no
smoking etc. Also I seem to remember that some radiator shops will do
the cleanout, tank must be empty. Beyond that any tips?
