I drove a 64 1500 for a while this summer. I'm 6'4" and really had to either
stretch to look over the top or scrouch down to see through the windcreen.

But the car had seats from a chevy van that were about 8 inches thick in the
seat, not sure how much better a stock seat would have been. I sure was happy
to get back to my high windshied car though.
