Go dig in the wife's fingernail stuff and "borrow" that really fine & pointy 
emery nail-file. They are good for sticking down inside the plastic 
connectors to get at corrosion. 

Also... bright red (or your favorite color) nail-polish works good for 
marking things... I used dabs on the carb linkage when I was having problems 
keeping things adjusted... makes a good tell-tale that things had loosened 
up.
