On the way back from Tachoe last weekend I spotted, stopped and
looked at an unusually clean, complete '67 411 SSS Wagon. It's
sitting at the Beacon gas station on highway 50, just as you get in
Tahoe area.
This vehicle is notable primarily because:
1.) appears to be ORIGINAL red paint (no visible rust)
2.) near perfect, stock interior with exception of the driver's seat
3.) automatic transmission, shift on the tree
4.) stock everything, down to the wheel covers, which suggests the
previous owner didn't 'F' things up trying to hotrod their wagon
It does not appear to be a running vehicle but, this is an abosolute
dream starting point for a proper restoration.
