starter wire

Still plugging away on the 69, 2000. Have a question about the wiring on the 
starter. On the back of the start there're three letters to indicate , S = 
solenoid, B= Battery, and M= Motor ? Is that correct and if the battery goes to 
the "B" what goes to the M?
