The SR20DE 5th gear is a .75OD. Sounds like the 3.90 is the way to go.

Hi
Does the 5speed from the SR20DE have the same ratio's as the
roadster
5 speed? Does it have a taller 5th? ON my 5 speed with 4.11 lsd I
think I am
turning 4500 rpms at fast freeway cruising speed.
If the SR 5 speed has a shorter 5th I would not go with the 4.11 if it
had a
taller 5th then I think that would be a good choice.
