do you have a 70 roadster which has a circuit for each side of the car?
check the ground to the frame on the left side and  the fuse for the left
headlight.  I had a fuse link partially disconnect from the end cap of the
fuse and the ground just below the windshield washer tank might need to be
cleaned.  My right headlight is still brighter but not near as bad as it
was.  The headlight relay may also need cleaning, I have not got that far
myself yet.
