On my '66 it's yellow/white from the gauge all the way through the
harness, but the last section from the harness to the sender is covered
in black plastic sheathing. I assume it's yellow/white inside, but if
you're looking for a yellow/white wire in the engine compartment you may
be searching for awhile.
