Victor,
It was a really close vote. Todd had someone in mind, and so did I. We
independently came up with the same name - Victor Laury! And after speaking
with some others in our club, we heard the same name.
Oh, about the close vote - that was about the name of the award. We were
also thinking of calling it the Roadster Romantic award, but chose Fairlady
Fanatic. Roadster Romantic sounded too mushy. But geesh, if you're close to
tears maybe we should've went with Roadster Romantic after all!
I remember the first time more than a few years ago when I went to Solvang,
I met you there and you were just as much a fanatic as you are now. You
really deserve to be rewarded for keeping the roadster excitement going!
