Yeah, I know....
It's a 1600, aluminum head. I sent it to the shop to have it worked. The 4
bolts on the top which secure the rocker mechanism were removed and then brass
inserts were pressed into the head; I assume the threads were stripped or
something? Upon tightening, and probably over tightening, one became stripped.
Can this be remedied? I need more than one possible solution...as always,
advice is appreciated.
Does anyone know of a good machine shop in the Jackson/Grenada Mississippi or
Memphis, Tennessee area?
