Snapfish <http://www.snapfish.com> has one of the better deals for
online film sharing and developing. Online storage services are free.
Developing is free for your first three rolls, $2.99 per roll
thereafter. Shipping and handling for prints is also $1.99 per roll.
There's also an online photo album to share with friends and family, as
well as email picture sharing.
Shutterfly <http://www.shutterfly.com> has a nice little application
designed to reduce red eye, change picture colors, crop pictures, and
add borders. You can even include a personal message on the back of your
prints. After you've finished modifying pictures you can use the upload
tool to store unlimited pictures on the site.
Club Photo <http://www.clubphoto.com/> makes it easy to upload your
pictures to its webpage. Just hit the browse button and navigate your
hard drive to find the ideal pictures for your album. Club Photo also
offers my favorite feature in the entire project: a slide show. You can
even set how long each picture appears on the screen.
Another website that allows you to upload pictures is PhotoWorks
<http://www.photoworks.com/>. Once you've uploaded photos you can
password-protect them. PhotoWorks also offers cool background patterns
and exciting fonts that bring your pictures to life.
Fotki.com <http://www.fotki.com/> is a gigantic photo-sharing community.
Completely free of charge, this website will allow you to publicly or
privately share unlimited photos. All you have to do is sign up. Fotki,
though, doesn't develop film. Your pictures must be in digital form --
either from a digital camera or scanned from prints -- before you can
begin uploading them.
